Locker Cleanout

Seniors can avoid paying a $5 fee by cleaning out their lockers on time. Don’t forget to clean your gym lockers, too!

Graduation Checklist is due to the main office by 3 p.m.

Community Service forms must be turned into Mrs. Pelnar in the main office by 3:00 pm to be included on your student’s records and diploma.

Sunday, June 4th

Scholarship Night at 3 p.m. in the Main Gym and Commons. Can’t make it? See it live online.

Monday, June 5th

Senior Picnic from 4 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at Darien West Park

Seniors should not be in the building on Monday, June 5th, Tuesday, June 6th or Wednesday, June 7th unless they are taking care of unpaid fees or fines or have other official school business.

Wednesday, June 7th

Fees and Fines

All fines and fees should be paid in full by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7Fees/fines are up-to-date and can be viewed at any time in Infinite Campus.  Seniors should check frequently for any unpaid fees/fines. School Board Policy 5460, Graduation Requirements states: A student may be denied participation in graduation activities for disciplinary reasons and for non-payment of fees (This includes any overdue materials and lunch fines). Fees and fines can be paid online in the student’s Parent Portal with a debit/credit card, or in person at the DDHS main office with cash or money-order only. Office hours are 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. See Mrs. Pelnar or Mrs. Daniels in the Main Office if you have questions.

Thursday, June 8th

Senior Breakfast at 7 a.m. at DDHS.

Graduation Rehearsal at 8 a.m. SHARP at DDHS. All graduates are expected to attend graduation rehearsal.  If a senior does not attend graduation practice, the senior  WILL NOT go through the ceremony.  If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Mr. Karedes.    Seniors should check the honors/high honors list posted outside Student Services on June 8th, and report any errors or omissions to Mrs. Ettner right away.

Graduation at 6:30 pm in the Main Gym. Seniors must be in the Large Group Room by 6 p.m. for graduation.

The Main Gym will open at 5:30 p.m. Seating is limited in the Main Gym.  Each senior will receive 6 tickets for the ceremony with the opportunity to request additional tickets at Graduation Rehearsal, if available.  Overflow seating will be available in the Auditorium where the ceremony will broadcast live. Seniors are responsible for picking up the envelope containing their diploma, immunization records, and certificates in the cafeteria immediately after graduation.
